Privacy policy
In short
This site collects as little as possible: no cookies, no tracking, no ads, no third-party services. Your swipes are counted anonymously, with no way to trace them back to you.

Hosting
The site runs on a virtual server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in its data centre in Nuremberg, Germany, inside the EU. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
When you open a page, your device necessarily sends its IP address to the server so that it can reply. It is used for that reply only. My server keeps no access logs and stores no IP addresses. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts
The fonts used are stored on my own server and delivered from there. Your browser makes no connection to Google or any other font provider.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking and stores nothing in your browser (no local storage). A single technically necessary cookie is set only in the private admin area after a login and does not affect visitors. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Anonymous swipe statistics
On the home page you can rate individual pieces with a swipe, and on a piece’s own page with “Love it” or “Not for me”. What is stored is only: which piece was rated, whether the rating was positive or negative, where it came from (the swipe stack or the piece’s page), for swipes the position in the stack and how long the piece was visible, the chosen language and the time.
A random identifier groups the swipes of a single visit. It is generated in your browser’s memory only and is lost when the tab closes. No cookies are set and no IP address, device or browser information is stored. The data cannot be linked to you and is anonymous under the GDPR.
Purpose: to understand which pieces resonate. The domain you arrived from (e.g. “instagram.com”) is also stored, never the full address.
Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (my interest in answering enquiries), or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract. I delete messages once the matter is settled and no retention duty applies. They are not passed on.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Just write to me with any questions. Because the swipe data is stored anonymously, it cannot be attributed to any person and therefore cannot be individually retrieved or deleted.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live or work.
Changes
If something changes on the site that affects data, I will update this policy. Last updated: October 2026.
